A fun day on a small group tour to the Hunter Valley. We went to three small vineyards, where we tasted 5-6 wines at each one. The hosts at... read more each vineyard talked us through the wines. We tasted some really good wines and bought a couple which we enjoyed in our hotel in Sydney. Lunch and a free drink were provided at a golf club – although the food was a bit average. The day also included an enjoyable cheese tasting at a cheese factory. Our driver and guide, Jim, was very helpful and offered a fun and informative commentary. He was very enthusiastic and told us about the region and about Sydney.

Our favourite vineyard was Saddler’s Creek where the wine was delicious and the staff made us so welcome. A highly recommended day.
